After a discussion with a friends who was setting up a website to celebrate the art of sleeping I suggested that some specially composed music might be the best thing for me to contribute to the site.

So I began work on a series of ambient compositions in the vein of Brian Eno or John Cage designed to help you get to sleep.

Partly interested by the brief to compose some music that’s designed to put people to sleep and partly to have the opportunity to have some music publish on a friends website, these three short EPs all contain music to fall asleep to. Sitting somehwere in the Apollos and Atmospheres end of the minimal music spectrum it was interesting to put music together that was interesting but not distracting, relaxing but not boring.
