A small portfolio site to house a collection of my illustrations, sketches and general odd drawings. With the images all drawn into sketch books it seemed quite fitting to photograph them in situ (rather than scanning them) and with the help of Alexander Newton I catalogued six of my books.

Working under the moniker ‘Mec’ these drawings are a big departure from the more formal projects I work on from day to day, but you’ve got a have a hobby haven’t you?

The site was built to be a straightforward image viewing tool, and drawing on the current convention of images sliding left and right the site hopefully encourages visitors to ‘leaf’ through the site as t’were a book.
