Project:

Photographic portfolio site for an award winning photographer

Design:
Matt Cooper
Client:
Alexander Newton
Date:
2011

Alex is an award winning photographer in London and I worked closely with him to develop this portfolio site to showcase his work.

With content as rich and engaging as Alex’s photos the real chalenge was to let the content speak for itself, but avoid the usual pitfalls of photographer’s site (too much white space, confusing navigation).

The site also needs to function for several very different audiences and so at any point the site feels engaging and clear, whether you are directed to a page within the site or if you arrive at the home page.

The site also build on the brand and identity I developed for Alex in 2009.
