I’m a designer at IDEO in London with experience working as senior designer on a wide range of projects.
After graduating from Nottingham Trent University with a BA in Graphic Design I work for Applied Information Group for five years. While there I rose the position of lead creative on both wayfinding and digital projects, working closely with Tim Fendley and Malcolm Garrett.
I was involved in the design phases of the Legible London project, playing a key role in the development of the on street signs and the bus stop and tube station map posters. I also went on to be the creative lead on the Vancouver Transit project.
Since leaving Applied Information Group I have worked at a diverse range of studios in London continuing to working on international projects. I’ve been lucky enough to work on a national TV advert, develop the portfolio site for a renowned interior designer and play a key role in an organisation finding appropriate solutions to technical problems in developing countries.
I have experience leading teams, liaising with the client and am very happy getting stuck into the technical side of a project. I’m comfortable with all stages of a project from the initial scoping and tender submission through to the creative development and onto the implementation.
Above all else i’m able to fit into an existing team and play whatever role is required. From the trivial things like emailing the client to the more important things like making tea (or coffee, if you like).
I now work as an Interaction Designer for IDEO in London
